In October 2020 I got diagnosed with cancer. The short version: A rare form, a big tumor, things were looking really bad. Through the winter I got chemotherapy and I was lucky enough that it had a little effect. Just enough to have an operation in the spring of 2021. The operation went really well and now I am recovering and have hopes for the future. Hope the cancer doesn't come back, hope to make a solo album, hope to be able to play live again! 

So why this blog?
Because I like to write, I like to share stories, both in music as well as in writing. I have many things I want to share. About my album, the process, the songs, about crochet, plants and other things. And I like to that in freedom, with no pressure of it having to be 'short and sweet' and not having to think it has to be funny.

I don't know yet how often I'll write. Not even sure if I do it just in English or also in Dutch. We'll see how it develops.
